About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Student Placement in the Disability Support sector. As a Student Placement, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable real-life experience and skills in supporting people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support customers in various social experiences, such as sports, arts, and crafts, and special activities like trivia, discos, cooking, singing, and day trips.
  • Work alongside a Disability Support Worker in our Ipswich Hub to provide individualized support and care.
  • Participate in a collaborative and supportive team environment that provides mentoring and supervision.
Requirements
  • Currently studying a Cert III in Individual Support or similar.
  • Ability to follow directions and work as an individual or as part of a team.
  • Social, friendly, and easy-going with great people skills.
  • Compassionate nature.

  • Open Drivers Licence (or on Green P Plates).
