Export Controls Specialist

This role involves working closely with a dynamic team to provide expert advice on export controls, ITAR, and Foreign Military Sales. You will review contracts and other documents, liaise with management and staff, prepare correspondence and reports, and analyse export control documents.

The ideal candidate will have experience within the Defence industry, specifically with export controls and ITAR. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a process-oriented environment with attention to detail. A minimum NV1 security clearance is required, with the ability to upgrade if necessary.

About This Role

  • Reviewing and providing input into contracts and other documents
  • Liaising with management, staff, customers, contractors, and other organisations
  • Preparing correspondence and reports as directed
  • Analysing export control documents

Requirements

  • Experience within the Defence industry
  • Experience with export controls and ITAR
  • Strong communication skills
  • Process-oriented with good attention to detail
  • Minimum NV1 security clearance and ability to upgrade if required
