Job Title: Assurance Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Operations Specialist to join our team at Oracle. As a Security Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-based systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze security event queues using advanced security management tools.
  • Identify, categorize, and prioritize security events, and investigate and escalate incidents according to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate and coordinate on security and operational incidents.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and real-time rules to enhance security monitoring and incident response.
  • Contribute to the development of event and incident procedures, long-term analysis, and investigation processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A keen interest in learning and practicing cybersecurity.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to changing security landscapes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Linux operating systems and cloud security knowledge.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and reporting tools such as Grafana and OCI analytics.
  • Knowledge of network security and mobile app design, architecture, and networking.
