About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH). As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to our patients, including MRI and CT imaging, operation of fluoroscopy, and maintenance of digital image storage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI and CT imaging procedures on a variety of animal species
  • Operate fluoroscopy equipment to obtain high-quality images
  • Maintain digital image storage systems to ensure efficient and secure image retrieval
  • Ensure radiation safety across the facility
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and nurses to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in radiography recognized by the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
  • Current registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner (Diagnostic Radiography) with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
  • Experience in medical MRI, with experience in animal imaging an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clinicians, nurses, and support staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
