Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Business Engagement Specialist to support our faculties in growing enrolments on degree apprenticeships. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in external facing teams to ensure a joined-up approach to employer engagement that meets all stakeholder needs.
The Role
- Support the planning and delivery of employer engagement and marketing activities that position the university as a degree apprenticeship partner of choice for employers.
- Manage social media promotion of degree apprenticeships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, academics, and other stakeholders to promote degree apprenticeships and secure new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with faculties and other teams to identify and pursue growth opportunities for degree apprenticeships.
- Design and deliver marketing materials, including social media campaigns, to promote degree apprenticeships.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and outcomes using CRM systems or equivalent tools.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field or several years of equivalent experience in similar or related roles.
- Experience in a client-facing role, preferably within an apprenticeship training provider, with strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of statutory apprenticeship regulatory requirements and solid grasp of apprenticeship levy regulations and funding processes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, customer-service oriented approach, and ability to achieve realistic and challenging targets.
