
Vulnerable Care Specialist

This role is a key position in supporting vulnerable children and families.
About the RoleThe Health Clinician will provide direct support to children, young people, and their non-offending parents/carers who are referred to the program. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Health Clinician and other agencies to deliver a coordinated response.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emotional support and practical assistance to children, young people, and their families.
- Assist in the development of strategies to reduce trauma and promote resilience.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive response to referrals.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse communities and provide culturally sensitive services.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in consultation and negotiation.
- Able to problem-solve and prioritize tasks in complex situations.
- Ability and willingness to drive/travel, with potential for overnight stays.
