Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Case Worker to join our Family Work team, delivering home-visiting casework to vulnerable families across the Blue Mountains and Penrith areas.

This role involves working with children and young people, as well as their families, to provide support and guidance in a relational, strengths-based practice.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Social Work or a related discipline and a commitment to our vision, values, and child-centred approach.

You will work closely with families to understand their needs and develop strategies to help them thrive.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering home-visiting casework to vulnerable families
  • Working with children and young people to provide support and guidance
  • Developing relationships with families to understand their needs and circumstances
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
