We are seeking a Tax Professional to take ownership of all tax-related matters, working closely with senior management and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Corporate income tax – review and sign off all computations and returns, payments to the relevant authorities, manage enquiries and audits
  • GST and other taxes – as above for corporate income tax
  • Payroll taxes and FBT – review and sign off all payroll tax and FBT computations.

Main goals and objectives include leading on setting local tax policy and governance framework, executing internal tax control testing, managing the tax risk register, assisting with monitoring tax key financial controls, and recommending improvements where appropriate. Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure consistent leadership across the organisation.

Tax Planning and Business Support

Identify and lead on all planning opportunities (direct and indirect), provide business support as required. Examples include tax implications of contract tendering & renewals, mergers and acquisitions, capital expenditure, business reorganisations, employee compensation etc.

Tax Reporting

Review and sign off on reporting to the Group including budget, forecast, and year-end corporate tax submissions, and monthly cash tax reporting to the Group. Review and sign off on tax disclosures in local statutory accounts, calculating and reporting local operating taxes to ensure accurate P&L and cash reporting.

Leadership and People Development

In conjunction with the Finance team, encourage the training and development of team members, particularly in relation to tax compliance. Develop good relationships with fellow team members to foster a culture of financial and operational excellence with a can-do, proactive approach.
