Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate KIS Additional Assistant to join our team in the Macedon Ranges region. As a KIS Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Kindergarten's teaching staff to create an inclusive environment that caters to the diverse needs of all children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with the Kindergarten team to design and implement individualised support plans.
  • Provide assistance with daily activities, such as mealtime, toileting, and outdoor play.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience working with preschool children and/or in a preschool setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and privacy principles.
  • Demonstrated kindness, respect, and positivity in interactions with others.
