We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our KU Allied Health Program. As a Speech Pathologist with KU Children's Services, you will play a vital role in providing early intervention services to children aged birth to 7 years, across NSW and Victoria.
Key Responsibilities- Provide multidisciplinary early intervention supports to children and families in play-based learning environments.
- Establish and maintain respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders, including families, educators, and other professionals.
- Support the developmental needs of children, including administering and scoring assessments, and providing feedback to families.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement individualized plans for children.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a child-safe culture within our services and programs.
- Australian recognized tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.
- Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience in supporting the developmental needs of children.
- Experience in administering and scoring a range of assessments.
- Experience in report writing and providing feedback to families.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Exceptional communication skills, written and oral.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office package and online databases.
- Meticulous time management and organisation skills.
- Current drivers' license and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle.
- Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Working with Children Check.
- NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain.
- A Medicare Provider number or willing to obtain.
