About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our KU Allied Health Program. As a Speech Pathologist with KU Children's Services, you will play a vital role in providing early intervention services to children aged birth to 7 years, across NSW and Victoria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide multidisciplinary early intervention supports to children and families in play-based learning environments.
  • Establish and maintain respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders, including families, educators, and other professionals.
  • Support the developmental needs of children, including administering and scoring assessments, and providing feedback to families.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement individualized plans for children.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a child-safe culture within our services and programs.
Requirements
  • Australian recognized tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology.
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in supporting the developmental needs of children.
  • Experience in administering and scoring a range of assessments.
  • Experience in report writing and providing feedback to families.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and oral.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office package and online databases.
  • Meticulous time management and organisation skills.
  • Current drivers' license and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle.
  • Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain.
  • A Medicare Provider number or willing to obtain.
