Job Overview:
Highest quality food standards are a top priority at Harvest Pub Operations. We seek an experienced Cook to lead the kitchen team at the Windsor Castle, Maitland.

About the Role:
This senior position requires a skilled professional who can manage and maintain the highest level of culinary excellence. You will work efficiently as part of a fast-paced team to deliver exceptional results in a dynamic environment. Your technical skills, creativity, and ability to work well under pressure will be critical in influencing the overall performance and reputation of the hotel in the local community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare, season, and cook food for table service, maintaining high standards of presentation and taste.
• Ensure compliance with health and food regulations by implementing effective quality control measures.
• Monitor and adjust temperatures of ovens, steam ovens, pans, and other equipment to achieve optimal cooking results.
• Create visually appealing dishes and garnishes while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
• Store, freeze, and preserve foods according to safety regulations, minimizing waste and ensuring freshness.
• Prepare meals according to dietary requirements, considering customers' needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with the head chef to plan innovative menus that cater to diverse tastes and trends.
• Conduct daily stock-take of station supplies, monitoring inventory levels and ordering necessary items.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Possess a Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality, accompanied by at least two years of experience as a Cook in a busy kitchen.
• Alternatively, three years of experience as a Cook in a fast-paced environment may be considered equivalent to formal qualifications.

About You:
• Demonstrate a professional attitude with excellent manners and presentation skills.
• Be able to thrive in a high-pressure restaurant environment, consistently delivering top-notch service and results.

Additional Information:
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary within the range of $70,000 to $80,000 per year.
