Lead Financial Strategist

We're seeking a seasoned financial leader to join our team and drive strategic financial operations across multiple funding streams. As a key member of our executive team, you'll oversee end-to-end financial management, delivering accurate month-end reports and rolling forecasts.

This role combines hands-on financial expertise with strategic influence, offering the opportunity to shape service delivery and organisational performance. You'll work closely with our leadership team to ensure compliance with funding requirements, streamline financial systems, and implement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial compliance.\
  • Deliver accurate month-end and board-ready financial reports and rolling forecasts.\
  • Lead CHSP, HCP, and NDIS acquittals and ensure compliance with funding requirements.\
  • Streamline financial systems and implement process improvements.\
  • Support grant submissions with modelling, forecasting, and ROI analysis.\
  • Advise leadership on pricing, cost control, and financial risk mitigation.\

About You:

We're looking for a candidate with a tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance, and at least 5 years' experience in a finance leadership or senior accountant role. You should have strong knowledge of Aged Care, NDIS, or other government-funded care models, as well as skills in Xero (or similar), Excel, and cashflow management. CPA or CA qualified is highly desirable.
