Job Title: Strategic Financial Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled financial leader to oversee the development of our Regional Corporate and Institutional Banking division's financial control function.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker to lead our team and drive innovation in financial management reporting, performance measurement, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial management reporting in compliance with our policies and standards.
  • Lead the development and implementation of robust control frameworks governing performance measurement.
  • Oversee the monthly and quarterly closing processes.
  • Streamline the financial close process by identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and reducing time and complexity.
  • Participate in strategic projects, providing financial control insights to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial control or decision support.
  • Experience in financial reporting and regulatory compliance in the banking sector.
  • Industry experience required - Banking.
  • Proven track record of managing financial audits, internal controls, and complex financial close processes.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., C.A, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or ACA).
