The Role

We're seeking two exceptional Assistant Store Managers to join our southern Brisbane stores. As a key member of our Management team, you'll be responsible for mentoring and guiding your team to achieve their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and goals, ultimately driving store performance and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize your commercial acumen to optimize profitability, leveraging opportunities across sales, our interior decorator program, Net Promoter Score (NPS), employee engagement, Average Transaction Value (ATV), and strike rates.
  • Inspire your team and customers with your product knowledge and passion for the Freedom brand, embodying our values and mission.
  • Create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork, collaboration, and a high-performance culture, through regular feedback and coaching.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and recommend potential solutions, valuing the input of our team members on how we can improve.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your store, including rostering, financial performance, onboarding new starters, ad-hoc training, and other duties as required.
  • Embed safety as a core aspect of your team's daily activities, empowering them to proactively identify and mitigate risks.

Requirements

We're looking for a talented Assistant Store Manager with a background in retail management, who can embody the Freedom spirit and drive positive outcomes. As a Freedom ambassador, you'll be commercially minded, committed to excellence, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
