About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking leader to join our team as a Store Manager in Training. This is an exciting opportunity to learn the effective operations of a supermarket and develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in a senior management position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store
- Develop and implement effective store layouts and visual merchandising displays
- Manage and motivate a team of sales assistants and other store staff
- Monitor and control stock levels, inventory, and ordering
- Meet sales and profit targets, and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives

- An excellent understanding of gross profit calculations
