Job Title: Store Manager

You'll be responsible for all store operations to ensure the store operates smoothly and efficiently. You'll mentor and develop your team to achieve success and inspire them to grow their journey with General Pants.

The role involves:

  • Driving outcomes and results through the right skills and behaviors
  • Reviewing sales and stock sell-through reports to analyze impact on store results and working with Regional Managers on future actions
  • Understanding and coaching others to decipher reports into actions to hit targets
  • Mentoring and developing team members to celebrate strengths and build awareness and steps to address gaps
  • Managing team workload, workflow, time management, and ultimate delivery through strong accountability and goal setting
  • Prioritizing team members' wellbeing and mental health to ensure they are healthy and taking time to recharge

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of management experience in a retail environment
  • Genuine love and understanding for fashion and our brands
  • Ability to confidently lead, motivate, and engage your team
  • Proven experience and success in coaching and developing teams and individuals
  • Proven track record of driving and exceeding sales targets and budgets
  • Sound knowledge and proven success in retail ops including budgets, wages, rostering, visual merchandising, stock management, shrinkage, etc.
  • Full Australian working rights
