Supermarket Retail Operations Director
About the Position:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced supermarket retail operations director to lead our remote supermarket in a First Nations community.
Key Responsibilities:- To manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the supermarket, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
- To develop and implement strategies to meet customer needs and improve store performance.
- To work closely with the local team members to provide training and support.
- To collaborate with stakeholders, including merchandising, nutrition, and other departments, to achieve business objectives.
- A minimum of three years' experience in retail management, preferably in a remote or rural setting.
- Experience using electronic retail systems for stock control and staff management.
- Certificate III in Retail or equivalent qualification.
- Ability to manage unique challenges of remote communities, such as limited access to resources and high staff turnover.
