About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Storeperson with Furniture Assembly experience to join our team. As a Furniture Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and delivering office furniture products to commercial businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install office furniture products using basic power tools
  • Review floor plans and manage the placement of furniture, including desks, desk accessories, screens, tables, chairs, and other office furniture
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients, suppliers, and other on-site trades to ensure client satisfaction
  • Safe loading and unloading of office furniture in and out of the truck to on-site locations
  • Final site checks to ensure furniture is built as required, is in working condition, and placed as per floor plan
  • Complete job sign-off activities, including site clean-up, paperwork, and client sign-off
  • Perform other general administrative and maintenance tasks, such as managing tool and hardware stock levels and ensuring the truck is clean and tidy

Requirements

  • Physical fitness, as some heavy lifting is involved and the capability to complete tasks that require regular lifting, standing, and walking
  • Experience using power tools, such as drills, impact drivers, drop saws, and grinders
  • A current and clean driver's license
  • Forklift license
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
  • Ability to work in a team environment
