About the Opportunity:

This role offers a unique chance to contribute to a sustainable future through responsible production of critical commodities. You will be part of a collaborative and inclusive team that delivers environmental impact assessments and regulatory approvals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery and execution of environmental impact assessment studies for exploration and mining activities.
  • Prepare Mine Management Plans for exploration and mining projects.
  • Assist in obtaining regulatory approvals required for exploration and capital projects.
  • Identify environmental risks associated with land access and regulatory approval pathways, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support consultants in delivering technical assessment related studies for environmental approval applications.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in environmental management and impact assessments, preferably in the mining industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in federal and Northern Territory environmental legislation and approval processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to facilitate cooperation among diverse teams.
