Job Title: Network Data Asset Officer

The role involves maintaining high-quality asset master data, including spatial data, to sustain transmission, distribution, and communication network performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain close working relationships with field team members to ensure effective collaboration and data exchange.
  2. Interpret asset information accurately and undertake follow-up actions to resolve missing or ambiguous data.
  3. Ensure asset registers are up to date in a timely fashion and maintain an excellent understanding of data models and processes.
  4. Create and modify asset data, including network and telecommunication, in accordance with agreed standards and data specifications.
  5. Coordinate the master data notification process to ensure timely data updates and provide spatial system support and services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent knowledge of electricity network systems, spatial context, network topology, and data.
  • Prior experience with CAD and/or GIS in an applied role, capable of manually updating records and performing spatial queries.
  • Demonstrable experience maintaining asset master data and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in small teams and make independent decisions.
