  • About the Role:

    The Early Childhood Regulatory Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Regulatory Officer to join our team. As a key member of our regulatory workforce, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of early childhood education and care services across Queensland.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    As a Senior Regulatory Officer, you will be responsible for consistently and fairly applying relevant early childhood education and care legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines in the regulation of the ECEC sector within the context of the Regulating for Quality policy.

    You will conduct assessment and rating of education and care services across Queensland, develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve regulatory outcomes, and undertake other suitable duties as directed by your supervisor.

  • Requirements:

    To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience as a regulator or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of regulating the ECEC sector. You will also require experience in conducting assessment and rating or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and complete training in conducting assessment and rating.

    In addition, you will need to possess strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to analyse evidence and create analysis, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and prioritise and complete projects and tasks efficiently with decision-making skills.
