Strategic Land Manager Role

Do you want to be part of a mission-driven team shaping land use across NSW and work on high-impact projects that deliver real value to communities?

This Strategic Land Manager role will play a pivotal part in assessing and assuring proposed Crown land sales, ensuring sustainable development, community benefit, and effective land stewardship.

As a key member of our team, you'll lead and deliver land sale and divestment projects within defined timeframes. You'll also prepare comprehensive assessments for delegated decision-makers under the Act.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and deliver land sale and divestment projects
  • Prepare comprehensive assessments for delegated decision-makers
  • Coordinate acquisition, sale, and vesting initiatives across diverse portfolios
  • Provide expert advice on complex land status and statutory divestment
  • Manage internal and external service providers across planning, valuation, legal, and marketing functions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including government agencies, local councils, industry, and community groups

For this role, we're looking for someone with proven experience in land management, property divestment, or government asset disposal. You should have strong analytical and research skills, as well as excellent stakeholder engagement and project coordination capabilities.
