Job Summary

As a Mechanical Engineer with the Australian Defence Force, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the ship's mechanical engineering plant. This includes power, propulsion, and auxiliary systems. You will be a trusted member of the ship's Command Team, providing technical advice and recommendations to achieve the mission.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure the ship's mechanical engineering plant runs smoothly
* Provide technical advice and recommendations to the Command Team
* Manage a team of highly trained marine technicians

What You'll Need

* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
* Strong technical knowledge of marine systems
* Leadership and management skills

About the Role
