Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of key projects across various industries, including health, commercial office, education, sports and recreation, and defence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the provision of mechanical services within Canberra and support the ACOR Group on a national basis.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary projects and manage/support mechanical projects or sub-projects to achieve mechanical deliverables.
  • Provide mentoring and training for junior team members and BIM designers on a project basis.
  • Ensure that project milestones, deadlines, budget, and cash flow are appropriately managed.
  • Contribute to standards, templates, and similar documents used to communicate mechanical requirements and deliverables.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in Mechanical Engineering within a building services engineering consultancy.
  • Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification.
  • Member of Engineer's Australia and Chartered Professional Engineer (or on path to achieving).
  • Experience leading delivery of medium to large-scale projects.
  • Experience in designing mechanical services in multiple sectors.
