Job Title: APS6 Technical Advisory

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an APS6 Technical Advisory. This role is responsible for providing specialist technical/clinical and operational advice to support the delivery of complex and novel cases.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sensitive conversations and situations, liaising with stakeholders, delegates, partners and providers, and providing high-quality written and telephone advice and record keeping.

The ideal candidate will have qualifications in occupational therapy, prosthetics and orthotics, speech pathology, physiotherapy, psychology, registered nursing, social work, mental health practitioners, or specialists behavioural support practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing sensitive conversations and situations associated with approval of funding
  • Liaising and working with stakeholders, delegates, partners and providers to ensure consistent decision making and outcome achievement
  • Providing high-quality written and telephone advice and record keeping
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in occupational therapy, prosthetics and orthotics, speech pathology, physiotherapy, psychology, registered nursing, social work, mental health practitioners, or specialists behavioural support practitioners
  • Proven experience in providing specialist technical/clinical and operational advice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
