Environmental Health Professional

The role involves ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met, working collaboratively with the community and stakeholders to provide clean and healthy local places and spaces. This includes developing strategies and policies related to environmental health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the community and stakeholders to achieve environmental health objectives.
  • Develop and implement projects, strategies, policies, guidelines, and procedures aligned with environmental health commitment.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Relevant degree-level qualifications in environmental health or a related field.
  • Solid experience in current environmental health issues and knowledge of relevant development strategies and policies.
  • Current Class C driver's license.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
  • Relevant local government experience.
  • Demonstrated high-level oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy in basic Microsoft Office applications.
Remuneration and Benefits:
  • Entry-level salary starting at $1,790.59 per week.
  • 35-hour working week.
