Medical Specialist Role

We are a leading international medical recruitment firm delivering qualified medical professionals to communities worldwide. Our flexible model offers competitive rates and the ability to supplement existing clinical work.
This role involves conducting virtual consultations for patients across a range of general medical services without the need to prescribe Schedule 8 medications. The average consultation length is 5-10 minutes, with most doctors seeing 6-8 patients per hour.
The minimum commitment is 10 hours per week (6 hours per week for FRACGPs/FACRRMs). Shifts are available in 2-hour minimum blocks with rosters provided 4 weeks in advance.
Weekend availability is highly valued.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- FRACGP or PGY4+ doctor experience (especially primary care, internal medicine, or ED)
- Current AHPRA registration
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently in a telehealth environment
The package includes:
- Fellows: 65% of billings on weekdays, 75% on weekends
- GP Registrars and PGY4+ doctors: 60% of billings on weekdays, 70% on weekends
- Patient consult fee: $49
- Potential earnings of $180-$220+ per hour depending on experience and shift times
- Extra professional indemnity insurance included (covers cybersecurity)
