Cultivating a culture of excellence in scientific research requires dedication, creativity, and innovative thinking. We seek an exceptional researcher to join our Behavioural Science Team as a Research Scientist.
">- As part of the Human Health Program, you will lead cutting-edge research projects focusing on core strategic science areas including wellbeing, community resilience, and trust, as well as health behaviour change.
- Under the guidance of senior researchers, assist in planning and preparing research proposals, conducting thorough investigations requiring originality and creativity.
- Apply your expertise in psychology, public health, or implementation science to generate novel ideas and solutions to complex research problems.
- Conduct meaningful research with real-world impact, leveraging scientific knowledge to drive positive outcomes for Australians.
Key responsibilities include:
">- Planning and conducting research investigations with senior researcher supervision.
- Contributing to the development of research proposals and reports for clients.
- Collaborating with colleagues across disciplines to foster innovation and networking.
- Liaising with clients to determine their needs and provide client satisfaction.
- Presenting results in a clear format and preparing reports for publication.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
">- A PhD (or equivalent qualifications and research experience) in a relevant field such as psychology, behavioural science, public health, or implementation science.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake original, creative, and innovative research by generating and pursuing novel ideas and solutions.
- Publication history of authorship on scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and/or reports, as well as grant applications.
