Residential Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager for our maintenance portfolio, you will oversee all aspects of maintenance, safety and building performance.
Key Responsibilities- You will lead on all maintenance operations across the site, ensuring both reactive and scheduled works are completed to a high standard within set timeframes.
- You will manage resident repair requests from diagnosis through to resolution, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum satisfaction.
- You will lead, coach and support a team of Maintenance Technicians including recruitment, training, performance reviews and day-to-day supervision.
- You will develop and deliver preventative maintenance plans to ensure buildings, plant and equipment remain safe, compliant and fully operational.
- You will conduct regular inspections of apartments, communal areas, systems and external spaces to uphold safety, appearance and functionality.
- You will bring hands-on maintenance experience in residential, hospitality, student housing or trades such as HVAC, repairs and refurbishments.
- You will have knowledge of WHS, risk management and preventative maintenance systems.
- You will have experience supervising contractors and maintaining compliance across high-quality residential buildings.
- You will possess strong communication skills with the ability to engage residents and lead in a service-focused setting.
- You will be proactive and independent, confident in taking ownership of tasks and projects.
- You will be a team-oriented individual with reliability and flexibility to support on-call or overtime work when needed.
