Lindsay Australia Ltd proudly operates an extensive Rural and National Transport and Logistics business, connecting growers, regional communities, and businesses with cities and sellers of fresh food across Australia.

The company is the largest transporter of fresh produce in Australia, specialising in temperature-sensitive, time-slotted freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres to meet national supply chain needs.

Our Business

We service over 1.5 million tonnes of temperature-controlled freight every year across the country. Our team consists of over 1,800 exceptional individuals, with roughly 35% based in Regional Australia.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Import / Export Coordinator for our Lindsay Fresh Logistics located in Brisbane Markets, Rocklea. The successful candidate will oversee all paperwork and requirements needed for our freight coming in and out of Australia.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain export/import inbox.
  • Capture and manage customer bookings, including creating job files.
  • Maintain job schedule, checking for inbound availability and outbound cutoffs, liaising with operations and logistics teams to schedule collection and delivery, booking necessary DAFF inspections, managing any reconditioning, treatment, and re-inspections as required.
  • Document management to meet regulatory requirements, processing DAFF directions, generating export documentation.
  • Maintain customer schedules and forecasts.
  • Pricing and invoicing job files.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven industry experience with familiarity of export/import regulations and compliance.
  • Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers.
  • Established administration experience with high attention to detail ensuring accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritise a high volume of work and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional time management skills with excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • A positive attitude with the willingness to learn.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly to changing logistics scenarios.
