Job Overview

As a Logistics Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the project transport and warehousing operations for our project clients using DP World's assets and systems. Your primary focus will be on ensuring seamless logistics operations that meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Ensure timely and efficient coordination of project transport and warehousing operations, adhering to safety, environmental, and industry standards.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, conduct site visits as required, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Transportation Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of all transport services, including booking, processing shipments, schedule management, and invoicing.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with transport, ensuring the safe and secure movement of goods.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication channels with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners, providing regular updates and reports on project progress.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-6 years in transportation operations or projects, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of the supply chain from an Australian perspective, excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and experience managing customer requirements for transportation (import and export shipments).
  • Education: Qualifications in logistics, transportation, or a related field would be advantageous.
