Casual Medical Receptionist
Job Description:As a Casual Medical Receptionist, you will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support in a busy medical centre. You will be the first point of contact for patients and callers, providing a professional manner and courteous tone.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, time management skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
You will be responsible for handling account queries, referring problems to the practice manager, and maintaining confidentiality regarding patient care and practice operations.
In addition, you will be expected to greet patients and callers professionally, answer phone calls promptly, and make appointments for patients as needed.
You will also be required to liaise with specialists, hospital staff, pharmacists, and other visitors in a professional manner, exercise confidentiality, and maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Professional manner and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Time management and attention to detail skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing situations.
- Experience with Medical Director/Pracsoft software.
- Previous experience in a medical centre setting.
