Job Opportunity:

The Technology Portfolio Office Manager position plays a pivotal role in strengthening governance, delivery execution, and strategic alignment for the overall Technology portfolio across IT, OT, and Digital.

This role ensures effective business engagement, roadmapping, decision frameworks, visibility, and success measures to enhance how we identify, prioritize, and deliver technology initiatives across ASP, ensuring a unified approach for our investments to consistently deliver measurable business value.

The role monitors progress, identifies risks, and ensures that technology initiatives align with business priorities and strategic objectives. It reports to the Head of Technology Strategy, Portfolio & Architecture and is a key member of the ASP Technology Leadership Team.

This role requires leading a unified portfolio function that drives governance excellence and strong engagement frameworks, coordinating business demand across ASP while establishing clear prioritization frameworks for technology investments.

Key responsibilities include developing effective roadmapping processes and standardizing delivery methodologies, ensuring a structured 'front door' for technology demand and consistent business engagement and project execution practices across the technology landscape.

The role also implements comprehensive performance monitoring, risk management, and compliance frameworks, providing transparency on portfolio health while ensuring governance standards are maintained across all technology initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a tertiary qualification (e.g., business, technology, or project management) and experience in leading technology delivery or portfolio management.

You should be able to demonstrate experience leading complex project portfolios and delivery teams, implementing delivery methodologies and governance frameworks, and a strategic perspective that anticipates challenges and opportunities and makes informed decisions.

A proven ability to engage, lead, and influence others regardless of reporting line, including at an executive level, is also essential.
