About the Role

The Operational Support Officer is a key member of the Centre for Accelerator Science (CAS) team, responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the effective operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes and actions to support the CAS business unit.
  • Liaise with travel desk to arrange travel bookings for CAS staff, ensuring compliance with ANSTO's travel guidelines.
  • Organize training and events, including room bookings, resources, travel, transport, equipment, and catering.
  • Manage centralised communications across CAS, maintaining databases, intranet and internet pages, and controlled documents.
  • Compile and disseminate analytical results, including client reports and email correspondence.
  • Collaborate with NST Administrative staff to integrate and harmonise administrative processes.
