Senior Showroom Sales Consultant

The Independent Hardware Group is strengthening local communities one postcode at a time. We're the leading supplier of over 600 independently owned stores nationwide – giving them a competitive advantage to take the big chains to task.

About This Role:

This exciting opportunity has arisen within our brand new showroom as a Senior Showroom Sales Consultant. You will provide exceptional service and solutions to a range of customers from Builders, Architects to end consumers looking to build or update their homes.

  • Support the initial development and set up of new showroom
  • Timely turnaround of product selections to quotation
  • Develop strong relationships with the supplier and customer networks and provide timely support and service to customers in order to maximise the network potential and product offering
  • Ensure Showroom Displays are in line with OH&S requirements
  • Maintaining a well-organised and visually appealing showroom to showcase our extensive product range
  • Learn and grow into leadership responsibilities, including staff coordination, inventory oversight, and showroom performance

Key Requirements:

  • Previous retail or showroom experience
  • A background or interest in design or home improvement
  • Leadership ambitions and a can-do attitude
  • Able to develop rapport quickly and at all levels
  • Ability to influence and drive positive outcomes
