Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Professional to fill the role of Enterprise Penetration Tester. This is an exciting opportunity to join Whizdom Recruitment and take on a challenging position that will allow you to utilise your technical skills and expertise to test and investigate security infrastructure within organisations.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting complex penetration testing and highly sensitive vulnerability assessment activities against enterprise grade infrastructure hosted on both Windows and Linux based platforms. You will also be required to develop penetration testing reports detailing vulnerabilities, priority ratings, recommended treatments and an executive summary detailing business impacts and systemic recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience conducting web application penetration testing against complex enterprise platforms built with a variety of technologies such as Java, NodeJS, Angular, SAP, IBMWebSphere, OpenShift, Azure and Active Directory. You should also have experience working with system owners to develop a test scope, prepare for testing and ensure remediation has been completed effectively.
You will also need to have experience conducting mobile penetration tests, undertaking penetration testing against enterprise grade infrastructure hosted on both Windows and Linux based platforms, and working as part of a team on large scale engagements. Additionally, you should have experience mentoring and developing the skills of junior penetration testers and improving penetration testing processes including automation of common tasks.
Benefits
This role offers a 24 month contract with extension options pending budget and delegate approval. The successful candidate will be based in ACT, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane or Melbourne, working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. A salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum is on offer, depending on experience.
Security Requirements
All applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a current NV1 security clearance. You will be required to undergo pre-employment screening checks which may include ID and work rights verification and any other client requested checks.
