Rug Warehouse Position Overview

Miss Amara, a leading e-commerce business, is seeking a talented individual to join their award-winning team as a Rug Warehouse Assistant. This role will play a critical part in supporting the Warehouse Manager in ensuring efficient order fulfillment and excellent customer satisfaction.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for unloading delivery vehicles using counterbalance forklifts, inbound/recording customer returns accurately, pick & pack outbound orders using various methods and equipment types, and maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the warehouse. They will also assist with unpacking inbound containers, including accurate counts, checking products for damage/defects, and stock put away.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential
  • Experience in Gmail, Cin7, Shippit, MS Excel / Google Sheets, Slack is an advantage
  • Able to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive approach to complete tasks and lead initiatives
  • Heavy lifting is required however appropriate training is provided, and where necessary suitable lifting equipment is used
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal, written)
  • Great problem solver
