The RoleWe're seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our clinical hearing research team. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic group led by Professor Colette McKay, working on two key projects: enabling fast-tracked early intervention for infants with hearing loss and optimising cochlear implant outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage recruitment of adult cochlear implant users and oversee their participation throughout the research project.
- Undertake participant testing, including psychophysical measurements, speech perception tests, and fNIRS imaging measurements.
- Fast-track early intervention by managing infant recruitment, undertaking participant testing, and collecting data using fNIRS imaging and behavioural measures.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research that can transform lives. You'll work closely with a talented team of clinicians, engineers, and scientists, gaining valuable experience in experimental design, analysis, and presentation.
Essential Requirements- Master of Clinical Audiology or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in paediatric diagnostic audiology and/or working with cochlear implant users.
