About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Documentation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing and be able to create clear, concise documents that communicate complex information effectively.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation across our operations.
  • Work closely with internal teams to translate complex processes into easy-to-understand documents, diagrams, and workflows.
  • Create visuals like infographics, diagrams, and workflows to complement written materials.
  • Ensure documentation meets company and industry standards for accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Production, Quality, Maintenance, Projects, Training and Safety teams to review documentation to ensure alignment.
  • Manage version control and ensure documentation is kept up-to-date.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SOP or technical writing within Food, FMCG, Pharma or Manufacturing environments.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a focus on clear, plain language.
  • Effective presentation and reporting skills.
  • The ability to research, simplify, and communicate complex processes effectively.
  • Experience collaborating across teams and managing documentation lifecycles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau) is desirable.

You are a skilled technical writer with a passion for creating high-quality documentation that communicates complex information effectively. You have excellent writing and editing skills, with a focus on clear, plain language. You are able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, and are proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
