Driving Academic Excellence

A forward-thinking academic leader is sought to spearhead innovation and excellence in the first-year student experience. The Executive Dean plays a pivotal role in delivering a transformative academic model, fostering student engagement, retention, and successful transition into university life.

The position oversees initiatives and supports pedagogical innovation and technology-enhanced learning through a dedicated academy. Strategic leadership involves developing and implementing a comprehensive operational plan to deliver student success.

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to deliver student success.
  • Oversee academic programs, research initiatives, and community partnerships to drive academic excellence.
  • Manage resources to support the goals and objectives of the College.
  • Represent the College across internal and external forums, building relationships with stakeholders and partners.

A strong focus is placed on interdisciplinary collaboration and integration across education, research, and industry engagement. This leadership position is critical to advancing Victoria University's reputation and impact nationally and globally.

You are a visionary academic leader with a distinguished record of achievement and a PhD in a relevant field. Internationally recognised for your contributions to higher education, you bring senior executive experience in academic leadership and management, supported by a deep understanding of national and global tertiary education trends, government policy, and funding frameworks.
