Supply Chain Partnership Manager

About the Role:
Ventia is seeking a highly skilled Supplier Relationship Manager to join their team. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers to enhance procurement effectiveness and drive business success.
Key responsibilities include identifying new suppliers, optimising supplier performance, and aligning supplier activities with operational needs. You will be a strategic individual with exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant discipline, such as business, supply chain or commercial, and demonstrated experience in supply relationship management and procurement within a complex environment. You will also possess analytical skills, proficiency in mapping workflows to identify improvements, and leadership experience in championing a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers to diversify the supply base
- Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies to maximise market impact
- Review contracts and pre-contract pipelines to identify supplier requirements
- Lead negotiations with suppliers in partnership with our contract management team
- Manage supplier performance through compliance, continuous improvement, ongoing audits, and tracking of relevant metrics
- Analyse procurement processes to identify cost savings and propose new ideas for solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to inform decision-making and mitigate risks
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrated experience in supply relationship management and procurement
- Analytical skills and proficiency in mapping workflows
- Leadership experience in championing a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills
