**About the role**:
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be a key asset in the future growth of Mad Mex. You will be accountable for sourcing and purchasing materials to support the operations of our Restaurant Network. This role is critical in assessing the entire flow of goods and materials throughout the network to ensure efficient delivery of quality goods and on-time delivery of those goods.

It is also responsible for running the wholesale side of the Mad Mex business, ensuring quality and profitability of wholesale imported goods.

At Mad Mex the Supply Chain Manager also plays a key role in the New Product Development (NPD) process, sourcing new products for testing and ensuring quality, cost effective solutions for our restaurants.

**Supply Chain**:

- Drive effective relationships with key supply partners to provide growth, profitability and business stability to Mad Mex and the Supply Partner
- Manage end to end supply of Imported products to ensure profitability of wholesale revenue
- Analyse and supervise the storage, use and transport of materials and inventory
- Continually drive initiatives to delivery ongoing supply chain cost savings for both the Franchisee and Corporate business
- Lead initiatives to improve and ensure quality of all products
- Provide continuous support to all franchise business partners on product and service managed by corporate
- Manage relationships with international and domestic partners
- Ensure a constant supply of product to warehousing, distributors and stores.
- Manage the Inventory Management System TASK to ensure products are available for restaurants to order, system recipes and COG’s are accurate.
- Ensure that supplies are available when they are needed to meet changing levels of demand for the company’s products

**Logistics**
- Source and manage all 3rd Party Distribution and Logistic arrangement to align with Procurement, Supply and Distribution Strategies
- Source and manage international logistics providers for wholesale supply chain

**Procurement**
- Negotiate prices and delivery of materials to produce cost savings, rebates and reduce lead times
- Lead the review of all existing relationships and supply agreements to align with procurement strategy, conducting Tenders on completion of supply contracts or as required.
- Own Systems and Procedures to support the accurate monitoring and reporting of all products and service through the supply chain. Includes;
- Compliance to Food Safety Laws and Legislation
- Delivery in Full and on time
- Quality and Price movement
- Rebates and volumes
- Provide support and leadership to all areas in the business in the procurement of products and service
- Support “NPD” (New Product Development) team with requested new products and ingredients and actively participate in the NPD process

**Financial Performance & Project Management**
- Develop and support the culture of innovation, process improvement, and ongoing cost improvement
- Assist in initiative projects to drive improvement of business profitability and growth
- Drive cost savings in all new contractual supply arrangements
- Creation of Annual Supply Chain budget including Wholesale and Rebate revenue
- As part of the annual Mad Mex Budget process, you will be required to provide a forecast of increases COGS expenses for our restaurant network.
- Annual reviews of all current supply partners

**Qualification & Experience**:

- Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent university qualification in Supply Chain Management
- A seasoned professional with 5+ years of hands-on supply chain project management or operations experience
- A proud multi-tasker who pays an obsessive amount of attention to detail
- A critical thinker who can self-manage and embrace their “analytical curiosity”
- A sharp communicator and collaborator with an above-average amount of positivity and proactive energy
- A know-it-all when it comes to supply chain processes, especially in domestic supply chain
- A proven whiz at Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and BI and Inventory Management systems
- An adventure-seeker who doesn’t mind traveling when needed.
- A strong understanding of the S&OP process creation and implementation.
