The Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Brisbane office. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who can deliver high-quality electrical engineering solutions and support various projects within our portfolio. Experience with controls systems is a bonus, and RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and oversee electrical systems and solutions for a range of projects.
  • Apply technical expertise to develop and optimise electrical control systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure engineering solutions are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in electrical engineering, including project management and technical design.
  • Experience with electrical control systems is a bonus.
  • RPEQ (Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) qualification is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex engineering challenges.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proven track record of delivering engineering projects on time and within budget.
