Job Title: Documentation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Documentation Specialist to join our team and produce high-quality technical documentation that contributes to the overall success of a project.

The role involves producing comprehensive documentation that is appropriate for its intended audience, development of technical documentation aligned to industry standards, working with internal teams on product and documentation requirements, participating in workshops to capture outcomes and requirements, and maintaining a library of technical terminology and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Production: Create high-quality documentation that meets industry standards and is easily understandable by the target audience.
  • Tech Doc Alignment: Develop technical documentation that aligns with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to understand product and documentation requirements.
  • Workshop Participation: Participate in discovery and validation workshops to capture outcomes and requirements.
  • Library Maintenance: Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.

Essential Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a technical writing role or similar.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience working in software/capability development projects.
  • Ability to work in Government secure environments.
  • NV1 security clearance.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Excellent written skills in English.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Able to build strong rapport with team members.
  • Qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred.
