Senior Mental Health Liaison Specialist

The Clinical Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring efficient triage assessment and coordination of mental health care of Mobile Forensic Mental Health Service (MobileFMHS) clients within MRC.
Key responsibilities include triaging all referrals, prioritizing waitlists, participating in client transitions and discharges, providing clinical leadership to nursing staff, and developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements- Registered Nurse
- Postgraduate qualification in Psychiatric Nursing or equivalent
- At least 5 years of Psychiatric nursing experience
- Thorough knowledge of current psychiatric nursing practices and legislation
- Experience in independently triaging referrals
- Demonstrated ability to undertake assessments of prisoners with mental impairment
- Plan, implement and evaluate interventions, counselling, and therapeutic programs
