About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Medical Officer to join our team at Gladstone Hospital. As a Senior Medical Officer, you will provide safe, high-quality anaesthetic clinical services with a commitment to patient safety and continuous service improvement.

Key responsibilities include assisting in the professional development and support of medical students and clinicians as required, and providing the full range of anaesthetic services including general and regional anaesthesia, obstetric services including epidural/spinal anaesthesia.

What We Look For
  • A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Joint Consultative Committee on Anaesthesia (JCCA) / Diploma of Rural Generalist Anaesthesia.
  • Ongoing CME program maintenance with appropriate bodies.
  • Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Our Offer

A competitive total remuneration package consisting of:

  • A salary rate between $182,106 - $187,801 p.a.
  • A salary rate between $182,106 - $210,332 p.a.
  • A salary rate between $210,332 - $251,527 p.a.
