Job Title: Engineering and Assets Manager

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position responsible for the design, delivery, and management of infrastructure assets.

The position leads strategic asset management planning, oversees the Capital Works program, and ensures the effective application of engineering excellence in project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to deliver infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Act as an asset owner ensuring compliance with asset management policies and plans.
  • Manage Asset Management Systems and Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Oversee complex civil infrastructure designs and provide technical advice to stakeholders and the community.
  • Deliver project management including procurement, contract administration, and budget control.
  • Engage in consultation and liaison with residents, government agencies, contractors, and elected officials.
  • Drive innovation and sustainability in infrastructure planning and delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

This role requires a strong background in engineering, asset management, and project delivery. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, and a deep understanding of asset management principles.
