Key Responsibilities
- Staff Management
- Manage company staff within Australia and New Zealand, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- HR Team Leadership
- Lead the HR team, delegating work, setting KPIs, and promoting performance and continued improvement.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Stay up-to-date with industry awards, current pay rates, employment legislation, and OHS legislation, implementing best practices and communicating updates to the Executive team and relevant staff.
- Staffing Issues and Conflict Resolution
- Manage staffing issues, mediating disputes, and directing disciplinary procedures, ensuring best practice HR processes and procedures are followed and documented.
- Recruitment and Onboarding
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment functions, onboarding, and offboarding procedures within the HR department.
- Performance Management and Development
- Consult on performance review processes and performance management procedures, handling disciplinary procedures and mediation in line with relevant legislation.
- Return-to-Work Coordinator
- Coordinate return-to-work programs across all states in Australia, liaising with state-specific WorkCover providers.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent with a minimum of 2+ years' experience in Recruitment and/or Human Resources.
- High-level interpersonal skills and professionalism.
- Proven experience providing research-based HR and recruitment recommendations and advice to senior management.
- Knowledge of best practice HR processes and procedures, with proven experience in implementation and regulation.
- Knowledge of confidentiality obligations and ability to uphold confidentiality.
