AOD Counsellor Support Worker

We're looking for a dedicated professional to provide support services to individuals and families affected by alcohol and other drug use.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver evidence-based interventions to reduce harm associated with AOD use, promote recovery, and support behaviour change.
- Lead and guide colleagues in their work, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Your Qualifications and Skills
- A degree in a health or welfare-related field is essential.
- Experience working with Aboriginal communities and an understanding of systemic issues are highly valued.
- Counselling experience, particularly in AOD or dual diagnosis contexts, is highly desirable.
- You should possess strong collaboration and communication skills, as well as knowledge of various therapeutic approaches such as CBT, MET, Harm Reduction, Trauma-Informed Practice, Narrative Therapy, Family Inclusive Practice, and Community Reinforcement.
