Alcohol and Other Drug Counsellor Role">

We are seeking a skilled Alcohol and Other Drug Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based interventions to support positive behavioural change in AOD clients.

The role involves delivering face-to-face, video conferencing, and telephone counselling services, as well as group delivery both face-to-face and online. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure holistic client care.

To be successful in this role, you will require a Diploma of Alcohol and Other Drugs, experience working in AOD, and knowledge of modalities. A current Employee Working with Children Check is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to AOD clients
  • Provide face-to-face, video conferencing, and telephone counselling services
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • Diploma of Alcohol and Other Drugs
  • Experience working in AOD
